My name is Akilah Lindsey and I am the founder of Azriyelle Doula Services. I have been infatuated with pregnant women, childbirth and babies for as far back as I can remember. The entire birth experience is one that completely excites me and I consider myself blessed to have discovered this incredible opportunity to help families during one of their most exciting, sacred and fulfilling times of their lives.

When having my children I believed a doula was far from my reach. Although I had a great support system with me every step of the way, I had no one there to actually help me make informed decisions, to help me advocate for myself or to make me feel confident in the fact that I could trust my body and trust the process.

I founded Azriyelle Doula Services on the basis that every woman I have the opportunity to support feels encouraged, strong, empowered, fearless, embraced and beautiful throughout their entire birth process. I never want any woman to feel as I did during my birthing experiences.
