About Me
Hi, I'm Akilah!
As a compassionate, certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator, Sleep Trainer and Newborn Care specialist - with a passion for supporting families during one of the most transformative times of their lives, I strive to empower parents with the knowledge and evidence needed to navigate the challenges of childbirth, infant care and postpartum recovery. With my comprehensive training and hands-on experience, I am also committed to providing evidence-based advice on breastfeeding, offering gentle sleep training techniques, offering expert newborn care, and ensuring families feel confident, supported and well-prepared.

When I had my children, I believed a doula was far beyond my reach. Although I had a great support system with me every step of the way, I had no one to help me make informed decisions, advocate for myself, or reassure me that I could trust my body and the birthing process. I founded Azriyelle Doula Services on the belief that every woman deserves to feel supported, encouraged, empowered, and embraced throughout her entire birth and postpartum journey.
